Ryan Wedding, a former Olympic snowboarder from Canada, is now one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, accused of leading a cocaine trafficking organization responsible for multiple murders and using cryptocurrency for illicit activities. Wedding, 44, faces several federal charges in the U.S. and is believed to be in Mexico, protected by the Sinaloa cartel. The FBI’s operation targeting his organization is named “Giant Slalom,” referencing Wedding’s Olympic background. He is wanted for a series of violent crimes, including the murder of two parents in a mistaken identity case linked to his criminal enterprise.
