Raccoon Discovered in Liquor Store Bathroom

One Virginia liquor store had an unexpected visitor when an inebriated raccoon was discovered passed out in the bathroom after having ransacked shelves and consumed various types of alcohol. The Hanover County Animal Protection & Shelter rescued the “masked bandit,” taking him back to the shelter to recover before releasing him into the wild. After a few hours of rest, the raccoon was deemed fit for release, humorously advised to reconsider his life choices. The shelter offers care for rescued animals until they are adopted or placed with rescue organizations.
