One dead in St. Louis airport police shooting

One person was killed in an officer-involved shooting at St. Louis Lambert International Airport early Friday morning during routine security checks. Police encountered a male suspect armed with a knife, who refused to comply and was subsequently tased before an officer fired his weapon, striking the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is under investigation by the St. Louis County Police Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.
