A 39-year-old father, Yuji Hu, and his 7-year-old daughter, Anzi Hu, were found dead after being swept into the ocean by a large wave in Monterey County, California. The incident occurred near Rocky Point Restaurant, where a 15-to-20-foot wave pulled them into the water while the mother attempted to rescue them and was also swept away but managed to return to shore. A diver located Anzi’s body about 100 yards offshore on Sunday, while Yuji was rescued but later declared dead at the hospital. The mother was hospitalized for mild hypothermia, and a 2-year-old child with them was unharmed.
