The National Park Service has clarified that recent viral videos suggesting wildlife, including bison and grizzly bears, are migrating away from Yellowstone National Park are misleading, with NPS spokesperson Linda Veress stating the claim is false. Wildlife expert Bill Hamilton noted that typical animal movement occurs in winter, while summer migration is rare unless prompted by extreme events, asserting that the current situation is normal.

Explain It To Me Like I’m 5: The National Park Service has clarified that recent viral videos showing animals migrating away from Yellowstone National Park are likely fake and that wildlife is not leaving in large numbers, as the park remains a natural habitat for many species.
