Man charged with purchasing explosives to attack police at LA protests: DOJ

A Texas man, Grzegorz Vandenberg, 48, has been charged with purchasing explosives intended for an attack on police during recent protests in Los Angeles against the Trump administration’s immigration policies. After alarming comments made in a New Mexico travel center, he was arrested in Tucson, Arizona, following law enforcement notification, amid ongoing protests that have resulted in over 500 arrests since June 6.
