The suspect, 45-year-old Mohamed Soliman, allegedly planned the attack for a year, expressing a desire to harm “Zionist people,” and was charged with federal hate crimes and attempted murder after being apprehended with additional Molotov cocktails. Following the attack, the group plans to pause their awareness walks until safety measures are reassessed.
