ICE lodges detainer for 24-year-old Venezuelan man arrested for posing as 16-year-old high school student: Police

A 24-year-old Venezuelan man, Anthony Emmanuel Labrador Sierra, was arrested in Ohio for posing as a 16-year-old high school student. He had enrolled at Perrysburg High School in January 2024, claiming to be homeless and a victim of human trafficking, and was placed under guardianship by a couple who later discovered his true age. Following his arrest on forgery charges, Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued a detainer, and Labrador, whose visa had expired, remains in custody pending a court date.
