Logan Federico, a 22-year-old college student from Waxhaw, North Carolina, was found dead from a gunshot wound in a rented house in Columbia, South Carolina, where she was visiting friends. Police allege that Alexander Dickey, a career criminal, broke into the house at 3 a.m., shot Federico, and fled in a stolen vehicle after committing several thefts. Dickey was later apprehended following a manhunt, facing multiple charges including murder, burglary, and arson, while Federico’s family mourned her loss.
