Israel’s Security Cabinet has unanimously approved a plan to intensify military operations in the Gaza Strip, aiming to defeat Hamas and regain Israeli captives. The strategy includes occupying Gaza, forcibly relocating Palestinians from the north to the south, and exploring options for resettlement in other countries, as stated by Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi. With over 52,500 Palestinians reportedly killed since October 2023 and pending war crime charges against Israeli officials, the plan has drawn international criticism, including accusations of ethnic cleansing.
