In December 2004, University of Tennessee graduate student Johnia Berry was murdered in her Knoxville apartment, receiving 26 stab wounds after an intruder entered her home. Her roommate, Jason Aymami, who was also attacked, provided a description of the assailant that led to a composite sketch, ultimately identifying Taylor Lee Olson as the suspect in 2007. Olson confessed to the crime but tragically took his own life in jail before facing trial.
