Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported that a tornado on Friday resulted in 19 fatalities in the state, with significant damage, including EF3 classification in Laurel County, where Fire Department Maj. Leslie Roger Leatherman died responding to the disaster. Missouri faced seven weather-related fatalities, with over 5,000 structures damaged from two EF3 tornadoes in St. Louis, while Virginia reported two deaths from falling trees. As of Sunday, over 75,000 people were without power nationwide, and severe storm risks persist across multiple states.
