After undergoing chemotherapy and surgery, he received crucial support from friends like Jason Sudeikis, who helped raise funds for a prosthetic leg through a barbecue event, which evolved into the annual Thundergong! fundraiser. This initiative has since provided prosthetic limbs for over 2,000 amputees via the nonprofit Steps of Faith, where Brimblecom now serves as CEO.
