Stellantis recalls 375,000 Jeep hybrid SUVs for fire risk
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Stellantis is recalling over 375,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid SUVs in the US due to fire risks, following the discovery of 19 fires linked to Samsung SDI-produced EV batteries. This follows a similar recall in October 2024, and the company has not yet resolved the issue through software updates. Affected owners are advised to park outdoors and refrain from charging their vehicles until a remedy is available. The recall affects models from 2020 to 2026 across North America and beyond.
