Stranger Things Spinoff Progress Update from The Duffer Brothers

The Duffer brothers confirmed that a spinoff of Stranger Things is officially moving forward at Netflix, having been in development since 2022. While the project will introduce new characters and a distinct storyline separate from the original series, it remains connected to the show’s creative essence. Finn Wolfhard previously speculated on the concept, but the Duffers clarified that his guess was not accurate. They aim to evolve the narrative beyond the ’80s while maintaining the franchise’s unique flavor.
