Even though The Acolyte was canceled on Disney+, Lucasfilm has confirmed its connection to Kylo Ren’s origins. Set in the late High Republic era, the show introduced the Stranger, a dark figure linked to Sith history, whose design was intentionally reminiscent of Kylo Ren. The series hinted at the Stranger’s possible ties to the Knights of Ren and explored themes of Sith influence outside traditional lineage. Despite its cancellation, the narrative groundwork remains relevant for future Star Wars storytelling.
