The FBI issued a warning to sports leagues about star athletes being at risk of burglaries due to displaying valuables on social media and having predictable travel schedules, with recent victims including Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Bobby Portis Jr., Joe Burrow, Luka Dončić, and Dak Prescott’s fiancée. Burglaries are believed to be carried out by South American theft groups targeting athletes with high-value items, prompting the FBI to advise athletes to limit public imagery of cash, jewels, and electronics. Recent cases, such as Dončić’s home being breached while he was away for a game and Kelce’s home being robbed after a Monday Night Football win, have highlighted the need for increased security measures.
