Stabbing suspect barricades herself in Los Angeles apartment with baby

A stabbing suspect barricaded herself in a Van Nuys apartment with a baby following a report of a stabbing on Sherman Way near Woodman Avenue. The suspect, identified as a female, was taken into custody by Los Angeles police after a standoff early Thursday morning. One victim was transported to the hospital, while officers safely rescued the young child from the scene.
