St Kilda’s Rowan Marshall injures pelvis, West Coast’s Elliot Yeo injured

St Kilda ruckman Rowan Marshall is in doubt for round one and potentially beyond due to a stress fracture in his pelvis, along with Mattaes Phillipou and Dougal Howard also being unlikely starters for the Saints’ AFL season opener. The club is hopeful Marshall will be available for round one after a CT scan, while Phillipou faces a 10- to 14-week recovery for a femur stress fracture. West Coast Eagles’ Elliot Yeo will miss the early rounds of the season due to injuries sustained in training, with a hopeful return in the early part of the season.
