Spurs’ De’Aaron Fox to miss rest of season after needing surgery

The Spurs will be without star player De’Aaron Fox for the remainder of the NBA season due to a tendon injury in his left pinkie that requires surgery. Fox, acquired in a trade in February, had been dealing with the injury all season and will now focus on healing and building chemistry with the team for the upcoming offseason. With Fox and Victor Wembanyama both out for the season, the Spurs will have to navigate the final stretch without two key players, while also missing coach Gregg Popovich who has been out since November.
