SpaDeX Satellites 230 Metre Apart, Health Status ‘Normal’, Says ISRO

ISRO’s SpaDeX satellites are currently 230 meters apart in orbit, with plans to reduce the distance to 500 meters for docking experiments. The successful demonstration of space docking will showcase India’s mastery in space technology and play a crucial role in future ambitious missions. The SpaDeX mission, launched on December 30, aims to demonstrate in-space docking technology for India’s space aspirations, making it the fourth country in the world to possess this capability.
