Chhattisgarh: Exchange of fire underway between security forces, Naxalites in Bijapur

An exchange of fire is ongoing between security forces and Naxalites in the forests of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh, with a search operation currently in progress. A CRPF jawan was injured in an IED blast during area domination operations by the CRPF in the same area. Additionally, bodies of three Naxals and weapons were recovered in a recent encounter at the Sukma-Bijapur border, with the search operation still ongoing.
