The country’s latest communication satellite, GSAT-N2, was successfully launched by SpaceX from Cape Canaveral in the US, according to NSIL. This 4,700kg High-throughput satellite has been injected into the desired orbit and aims to enhance broadband services and in-flight connectivity across India. Equipped with multiple spot beams and wideband transponders, GSAT-N2 has a mission life of 14 years and features a multi-beam architecture to support a large subscriber base with small user terminals.
