China hikes military activity around Taiwan

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defence reported detecting nine Chinese military aircraft and five vessels operating around Taiwan, with three aircraft crossing into Taiwan’s ADIZ. The Ministry stated that it has monitored the situation and responded accordingly, as China has been increasing its military activities around Taiwan since September 2020, utilizing grey zone tactics. Taiwan has heightened security on its maritime borders and remains vigilant in defending its territory.
