SpaceX starts reconfiguring Starlink satellite constellation

The year 2025 concluded with over 14,000 active satellites orbiting Earth, with one-third set to shift to lower altitudes. SpaceX, which operates the largest satellite fleet, plans to move approximately 4,400 Starlink Internet satellites from 341 miles to 298 miles in 2026.
