South Korea’s Yoon leaves presidential residence after ouster

Supporters of impeached President Yoon cried and hugged him as he left the official residence in Seoul, South Korea on April 11, 2025. The Constitutional Court upheld Yoon’s impeachment after his attempt to impose martial law in December, leading to four months of constitutional turmoil. Moving trucks and heavy police presence surrounded the presidential residence and Yoon’s private home as he bid farewell to his supporters.
