South American crew used signal jammers, disguises on heists, feds say

A bank heist crew, mainly Chilean nationals, armed with signal jammers, sledgehammers, and blowtorches, hit multiple banks in California, stealing $2.5 million. Ten individuals were charged in connection with the robberies, with prosecutors linking them to over a dozen incidents from June to September. The crew used various tactics, including scouting locations, disguises, and breaking into adjacent businesses to access ATM vaults, culminating in a successful heist in Fresno where they made off with $247,000.
