Rodriguez back at West Virginia after 17 years

West Virginia announced the return of former head coach Rich Rodriguez, currently at Jacksonville State, to lead the football program. Rodriguez had success at West Virginia from 2001-07, including a Sugar Bowl win, before leaving for Michigan. His return is expected to bring renewed enthusiasm and support to a program looking to recapture past glory, with his first big game against Pitt in 2025.
