The deal makes Snell the third-highest-paid left-handed pitcher in MLB history and solidifies the Dodgers’ starting rotation for the upcoming season, with Snell joining a talented group of pitchers including Shohei Ohtani and Tyler Glasnow. Snell, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, opted out of his previous contract with the San Francisco Giants to become a free agent and ultimately signed with the Dodgers for a lucrative deal.
