Krispy Kreme (NASDAQ: DNUT), known for its doughnuts and coffee, has struggled with profitability, witnessing a 77% decline in stock value over the past five years, while the S&P 500 gained over 85%. Recently, however, the stock has rebounded by 46.8% in the last six months despite ongoing financial weaknesses. The company reported losses from 2020 to 2023, but achieved a modest net income of $3.1 million in 2024 on $1.67 billion in revenue.
