Floyd signs with Falcons after exit from 49ers

Marc Raimondi, a seasoned ESPN reporter, recently covered the Atlanta Falcons’ signing of defensive end Leonard Floyd to a one-year, $10 million contract. Floyd, released by the San Francisco 49ers, had 8.5 sacks in 2024 and brings a much-needed pass rush to the Falcons, reuniting with coach Raheem Morris from their championship-winning stint with the Los Angeles Rams. Additionally, the Falcons signed linebacker Divine Deablo and cornerback Mike Hughes to bolster their defense for the upcoming season.
