Episode two of the 50th season of “Saturday Night Live” featured a cold open sketch with vice presidential nominees JD Vance and Tim Walz, played by Bowen Yang and Jim Gaffigan, respectively, “vibing” with each other in a debate. Maya Rudolph returned as Vice President Kamala Harris and Andy Samberg as second gentleman Doug Emhoff, watching the debate unfold. The star-studded election cast delivered a hilarious and entertaining performance that continued to captivate audiences.
