Slight tremors felt in Kolkata, Imphal

Mild tremors were felt in Kolkata and Imphal after a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar near Monywa, causing wall hangings to sway in Kolkata without any damage reported. In Imphal, residents of Thangal Bazar were panicked, but no damage has been reported in the old multi-storey buildings in the area, according to police.
