Skier dies in avalanche near Golden, B.C.

A skier lost his life in an avalanche in southeastern B.C., as reported by RCMP. Search-and-rescue crews found the remains of the man who triggered a Size 2 avalanche on Kapristo Mountain, which ran 990 meters. Police are collaborating with the B.C. Coroners Service for further investigation.
