Singapore ranks as world’s 3rd happiest city, after Copenhagen and Zurich

SINGAPORE has been ranked the 3rd “happiest” city for 2025, following Copenhagen and Zurich, according to the Happy City Index by the Institute for the Quality of Life. Scoring 979 points, Singapore excels in indicators like governance, economy, and health, with notable achievements in education and innovation, strong public health initiatives, and advanced transport infrastructure. This edition highlights Singapore’s minimal crime rate and commitment to sustainability, affirming its status as one of the 31 Gold Cities.
