SINGAPORE: Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong’s annual salary for FY2024/25 was S$7.01 million, a 13.5% decrease from the previous year, despite the airline posting a record net profit of S$2.78 billion attributed to a merger gain. The operating profit fell by 37% to S$1.71 billion due to increased competition, leading to a reduced profit-sharing bonus of 7.45 months for employees.

Explain It To Me Like I’m 5: Singapore Airlines’ CEO made S$7.01 million last year, which is less than before, even though the airline made a lot of money and gave bonuses to its workers.
