Summary
Silver Airways has ceased all operations as of June 11, 2025, advising passengers not to go to the airport and canceling 52 flights. The airline, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in December 2024, reached an agreement to sell its assets to a buyer who opted not to continue flight services. As a result, Silver will refund customers through their credit card companies or travel agencies, with analysts noting that the shutdown was anticipated due to the airline’s ongoing financial struggles.
