Shots were fired near Venezuela’s presidential palace late Monday, following the capture of deposed president Nicolas Maduro by US forces. Unidentified drones were spotted over the Miraflores palace, prompting security forces to respond with gunfire around 8 PM. Although bursts of gunfire were reported, they were not as intense as those during the pre-dawn raid that led to Maduro’s removal. Videos on social media showed security forces rushing to the palace amidst the chaos.
