A 49-year-old man died in a multi-vehicle crash on Reid Highway in Dianella, involving a Toyota LandCruiser, a Kia Carnival, and an Isuzu truck. Emergency services transported a 26-year-old passenger and the drivers of the other vehicles to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic was severely affected, with westbound lanes closed for hours. Police are investigating and seeking witnesses or footage of the incident.
