Short-handed goals lead Knights to win over Sharks

In a game at SAP Center at San Jose, the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the San Jose Sharks 6-3, with Brayden McNabb and Jack Eichel scoring short-handed goals 23 seconds apart in the third period. Mark Stone, Brett Howden, Noah Hanifin, and Pavel Dorofeyev also scored for Vegas. Alex Pietrangelo had three assists, Victor Olofsson added two, and Adin Hill made 22 saves. Will Smith, Shakir Mukhamadullin, and Tyler Toffoli scored for San Jose, who lost their sixth straight game.
