A Mexican Mafia member known as “Topo” was wounded in a shooting at a VFW hall in Los Angeles County, where a second man died. Juan Garcia, originally from the Florencia-13 gang, had a history of criminal activities, including inciting a riot in prison. After being released in 2020, Garcia was arrested for possessing a gun and sentenced to 15 months in federal prison.
