Shelter Movers, a volunteer-based organization, is available during the holidays to assist victims and survivors of intimate partner violence with free moves to safety, filling a crucial gap in services. With a rise in demand, the organization has completed 500 moves this year and remains prepared for urgent moves during the holiday season. Resources such as the Assaulted Women’s Helpline and YWCA Arise Shelter are available to provide support for those experiencing abuse.
