Shearwater secures more work off India

Norway’s Shearwater Geoservices has secured a new contract for a 2D seismic survey offshore India, utilizing the SW Thuridur vessel for about five months starting in the fourth quarter of 2024. This project is part of India’s National Seismic Program and follows a previous contract with ONGC for a 3D seismic survey using the Oceanic Sirius vessel, covering an area of 2,200 sq km and expected to start in early 2025 for a duration of four months.
