SINGAPORE: SHATEC, the Singapore Hotel Association Training and Education Centre, retrenched 42 staff as part of a “business containment exercise” amid a review of its long-term plans. The centre’s building is up for sale for approximately S$18 million, while it will continue to offer education and training until March 2026.
