Shanmugam rejects SDP's application to vary POFMA order for statements about Istana procession

Minister K Shanmugam rejected the Singapore Democratic Party’s application to vary a correction order for false statements regarding three women charged for organizing a procession without a permit. The women were charged for public order offenses, not for supporting the Palestinian cause as falsely suggested. The SDP’s appeal was rejected, and they were notified of the minister’s decision.
