In May 2025, Seychelles will host the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the first African nation to do so, featuring 16 international teams like Brazil and Portugal. The event is expected to attract 3,600 visitors and offers travel agents the opportunity to create sports and island tourism packages. Supported by CAF, this tournament marks Africa’s growing presence in international sports, enhancing Seychelles’ potential for sports tourism and offering African travel professionals the chance to create comprehensive travel packages.
