Severe Weather Strikes Midwest

On Thursday, possible tornadoes caused extensive damage across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan, downing trees and power lines, while severe weather interrupted a Beyoncé concert in Chicago, prompting attendees to seek shelter. Reports indicated no serious injuries, but nearly 400,000 homes experienced power outages, particularly in Michigan, and 12 tornado sightings were noted, primarily in Wisconsin, with hail reported in Madison. The National Weather Service warned of additional thunderstorms and severe weather threats expected in the region on Friday.
