Seven road fatalities in six days after series of weekend crashes

New Zealand has experienced seven road fatalities since Tuesday, with four occurring over the Auckland Anniversary holiday weekend. Fatal accidents took place in Hawkes Bay, Christchurch, Arthur’s Pass, and near Palmerston North. Two additional deaths resulted from crashes earlier in the week, with one person dying in a South Canterbury accident and another in an accident on the Winton-Lorneville Highway.
