Sennheiser has unveiled its Momentum True Wireless 5 earbuds, featuring a significant redesign aimed at sustainability. The new model includes user-replaceable batteries for both the earbuds and the charging case, addressing concerns about battery lifespan and waste. Priced at $299.95, the Momentum 5 will be available on September 3rd, 2024, and comes in five metallic colors: lavender, copper, denim, graphite, and cream. Battery life has improved, offering up to 12 hours on a single charge and 40 hours with the charging case, compared to the previous model’s 7.5 hours. Additional enhancements include redesigned ear tips, improved active noise cancellation, and support for Dolby Atmos and spatial audio with interactive head tracking, along with stable connectivity using Bluetooth 6.0.
