Apple has introduced new repairability improvements with the iPhone 16 lineup, including a new battery removal process that uses an adhesive debonding in response to a low electrical current. This process, which only takes about a minute and a half, replaces the usual pull tabs and has been praised for its simplicity by iFixit.
